My tribute to Star Wars! Yes, I am also a fan of "the other trilogy" - at least the original three movies! In fact, "The Empire strikes back" was one of the first movies I ever got to see in a cinema - friends took me (my parents never would, boh hoh...) and I have a vivid memory of the strong impression it left on me - particularly since, as I was living in Brazil at the time, I saw it in English with Portuguese sub-titles, and at the time I wasn't very good at either of those languages... by the end of the movie I still thought that Luke and Leia would get together!!! O well...

I am not sure what exactly this painting means, it is a bit of an odd one and obviously done much later (I did watch the Star Wars trilogy on video a lot at some later stage in my life...) - it's clear that the colour scheme is directly inpired by the stunning fight sequence between Luke and Darth Vader - the one with all the orange and blue - and I think the lower half of the painting is a reference to Yoda's planet, but the rest of it is a bit mysterious. Well, I leave it up to you to make of it what you will... ;-)
