Coaching, correpetition and accompaniment

Are you a singer or instrumentalist looking for an accompanist? I can provide professional accompaniment, as well as correpetition and coaching for a variety of repertories ranging from baroque cantatas or sonatas and medieval song to folk and contemporary styles. Draw on my vast experience performing early music from the Middle Ages and Baroque period with internationally renowned specialist ensembles in Europe and the United States and contemporary groups in New Zealand, and my specialist knowledge of music history and theory of the European Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque. I am happy to share!

Session fees

$ 50 - 1 hour
$ 90 - 2 hours
$ 180 - performance or exam accompaniment (short items)
including one rehearsal (up to 2 h) and a warm-up session before the performance

Full length recital accompaniment - rates negotiable according to time and preparation involved.
Coaching sessions normally take place at my home in Northland, Wellington.
For sessions elsewhere a surcharge of $ 10 (Wellington city area) or $30 (Petone, Porirua, Lower Hutt) applies.
